    Searching

    Hello

I have created a search function on my site but it does not pull all of the data.

I am using ExternalIndex. If I switch to InternalIndex that content can be found but not anything I can find in External.

If there a way to Force these to work together?

I have seen people create new index using Visual Studio which I do not have access to.

Also found a PDF searcher but need Nuget to load which I cannot use as I have no VS.

    any help appreciated.

You might just need to rebuild the index under Developer > Examine Management.

    Hi Michael,

The difference between the internal and external index set is that the internal set also includes unpublished content. The external index set only includes published content.

Are the pages you are missing in the results published (and do they have a template selected)?

Yea they have content that is published.

I have created a nested form that can be downloaded. PDF and DOC.

The title in this form only shows on internal and not external. So i created a pageMeta box for keywords and this only appears even though published in internal.

    I'm confused.
