I know you can link directly to a section in the back office using the format of /umbraco#/{section-alias}
/umbraco#/{section-alias}
Does anyone know if there is something similar that would allow us to link to a specific dashboard in a section?

Not yet, this is coming in 8.15.0 - https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco-CMS/pull/10283
