    Umbraco 8 TinyMCE default links to new tab

    Is there a way to make it where the links default to new tab(_blank)?

    I have tried this but it did not work

    <customConfig>
    <config key="default_link_target">_blank</config>
</customConfig>

    I found that config option here https://www.tiny.cloud/docs/plugins/opensource/link/

    I don't think you can because umbraco does not use the default tinymce link dialogues
