Hello fellow Umbracoians,
I need to display a larger information text in a DocType to the editors. I would like to display it in the right column of the editor's view, where you would usually enter content.
Is there a way (or a plugin) to do this with Umbraco 8?
I have a life hack for the 7th version, but I don't know if it will work in the 8th version.
Would a content app be able to help you here? https://our.umbraco.com/documentation/extending/Content-Apps/
I think a content app is not helpful here. Basically what I need is a "property editor" which just displays text to the content editors.
That sounds exactly what this package is doing: https://our.umbraco.com/packages/backoffice-extensions/editor-notes-v8-aka-ueditornotes/. I haven't tried it myself, but it should work for v8
Patrick,
thank you so much, indeed this is exactly what I was looking for. Works perfectly, a very nice package.
I was looking through the packages myself before, but I did not come across this one. Thank you for pointing it out to me.
