    Installation 404 error

    I am trying to install Umbraco using a parallels desktop (windows 11) on mac osx.

    Problem i am facing is that when i run the site from VS code using IIS express, in the output tab in VS code it shows a 404 error for all request to files in umbraco folder. enter image description here any idea on why this might be happening. I am sorry if i am missing something fairly obvious as i am bit new on .net development have mostly done PHP development.

    Any help would be much appriciated.
