    Cancel create Member

    Hi,

    I want to cancel the creating of a member due to some conditions. But I failed already just to cancel the creation in a simple way.

    Here is my code:

    private void MemberService_Saving(IMemberService sender, SaveEventArgs<IMember> e)
    {
        foreach(IMember m in e.SavedEntities)
        {                
            if(true)
            {
                e.Cancel = true;
            }
        }
    }

    The member ist not created, but instead of the notification message, I got a Core exception, saying:

    Received an error from the server
An error occurred
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

    Have you tried the CancelOperation method? This might work:

    e.CancelOperation(new EventMessage("My message category", "My message"));
}
