    All nested content is empty after upgrading from 8.6.4 to 8.17.0

    Hi, all nested content information is empty after upgrading from 8.6.4 to 8.17.0

    Has anyone else experienced this and managed to solve it?

    I've updated from Umbraco 8.11.1 to 8.17.0 and I'm seeing the same behaviour. All my nested content shows blank. It's not just that the fields are empty, the nested content tab shows nothing...

    Edit: I've found the cause of the problem and a solution (in my case). The problem here is that I use a dictionary key for the name of the tab (#Abstract title text content tab). When using this tab in a data type for nested content, this tab will not work. It's as if Umbraco 8.17 can't find a match between the tab name.

    When I change the name of the tab to a fixed name and update the data type used for the nested content, the nested content fields load fine.

    I can confirm that in a new/empty Umbraco 8.17.0 the issue with the dictionary is also present and not caused by the upgrade. I've created a bug report for this: https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco-CMS/issues/11494
