    Custom 404 page not working with extensions

    I successfully setup a 404 custom page on an Umbraco 9 website. But when trying to open a non existing page with an extension this does not work and the default .net 404 status page is displayed instead.

    Anyone was able to properly configure a 404 custom page that works with extensions too? E.g.: /i-dont-exist.phpenter image description here
