    Production deployment on linux

    Hello, I tried to publish Umbraco 9 to linux but it fails when I execute dotnet fmt.dll The dotnet app was compiled with: dotnet publish --runtime linux-x64 --self-contained false

    I ended up with this error:

    The value parameter here will be coming from IWebHostEnvironment.WebRootPath, which suggests that that value is either not getting initialized properly, or is being reset to null somehow.

    I don't have any great suggestions for how or why that might specifically happen on Linux, but hopefully it helps narrow down your search for a solution.

    Thank you! I am trying to run the application on a Windows Azure App Service. But I get OPs error message - or 500.30 error when trying to publish either through VS 2022 or Azure DevOps.

    Does anyone know if there something new I must do to deploy Umbraco 9 to Azure?
