umbraco rich text editor strip figure tag

Hi,

I'm using Umbraco 9. I'm trying to copy a bunch of html code in my richtexteditor and it keeps striping the

tag. According to the documentation I found, I've added figure in ValidElements in the appsettings.json and it still not working.

The html :

Michael Doe

Senior Designer at Google

In my appsettings.json file :

"Umbraco": { "RichTextEditor": { "ValidElements": "figure[class]" } }

as anyone ever seen this problem ? Thanks in advance for your help

According to the documentation it should be:

Umbraco > CMS > RichTextEditor > ValidElements

Example:

I found the original value in source control. I copied it here, and then added "picture".

I've copied your code and added figure[class|style|background-image],figcaption[],mark[] after picture in the mean time some other "new" tags will be added.
