    The type or namespace name 'WebViewPage<>' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

    Hi there,

    I received the following error when I go to the backoffice of Umbraco 8, the front end is fine : -

    *The type or namespace name 'WebViewPage<>' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)*

    I have tried everything from clearing the bin folder several times, to checking the Temporary Files folder by clearing the auto generated cs files in the folder but when I restart the Azure web app, it rebuilds that temporary set of folders and files again and displays the same error.

    I have checked for WebViewPage in the code and it doesn't reference it anywhere so I can update it. Is this a bug in Umbraco 7 that can be fixed?

    I was thinking of rebuilding the solution from scratch but it will involve a lot of time and work.

    Any help on this would be much appreciated.
