    Umbraco development, sql server, azure, azure sql or Umbraco cloud

    Does anyone have experience with azure sql vs sql server? Does one run faster (with less load times) than the other when running an umbraco website?

    What about azure app as opposed to a virtual machine? Does one run umbraco faster than the other?

    I can definitly recommend running it in an Azure App as compared to a VM, FAR less maintenance, easy deployments.. easy upscaling of resource.. at far less the costs of a VM.

    Thanks! I cannot seem to get it published to Azure but umbraco cloud and azure seem like great options.
