    Member login failed

    I create a new member and set the password I try to login but can't because ValidateUser returns false I reset the password and try yo log in with the new password - still can't login

    I'm on Umbraco version 7.15.7 assembly: 1.0.7706.20570

    My settings for hte MembershipService minRequiredNonalphanumericCharacters="0" minRequiredPasswordLength="4" useLegacyEncoding="false" enablePasswordRetrieval="false" enablePasswordReset="false" requiresQuestionAndAnswer="false" defaultMemberTypeAlias="MS Medlem" passwordFormat="Hashed" allowManuallyChangingPassword="false"

    Hope there is a solution as an upgrade is not currently possible

    Can you make sure that the member is not locked out and is approved ?

    If you enter too many wrong passwords then the member can be locked out. Resetting a password does not automatically unlock a locked out user.
