Umbraco Form receiving loads of spam after reCaptcha added
I've got a form created in Umbraco Forms version 7.3.1. It's receiving a tonne of spam even with a reCaptcha added - any ideas on how to validate the Recaptcha response server-side to stop this?
I hate to verify this, but... yep, this is an issue i've noticed on all sites that are using the v2 reCaptcha field.
I've had to update the UmbracoForms version on a number of projects to utilize the reCaptcha v3 control. I do believe this v3 option was added somewhere around ~Umbraco v8.7 which doesn't help you much on v7.3.1 i'm afraid.
Hopefully, this reply will give the thread a bump and find another set of eyes that can provide a more accessible resolution. I'd like to know as well.
