Umbraco 9 Website - Taking too much memory

    Hi,

We have built Umbraco 9 website. All works really well and site is very quick when we move between pages.

However, Umbraco 9 Website is taking too much memory. Please can you advice any tips on how to fix this issue?

    Cheers,

    Shaishav

Would be great if you could share some more information.

    • How many Umbraco nodes (content/media) do you have?
    • How much memory is it actually taking?
    • What Umbraco version are you using?
    • Could it be that the cause of this is related to something in your code? Maybe you are querying too much or caching too much?

I am using reseller plan from EUKHOST and everything was great until i deployed my 5th umbraco website and than problems showed up, my account got suspended 2 days in row and they dont know reason.

Now i am thinking about upgrade on cloud or VPS and first question is how many RAM memory i need for 1 umbraco website, I have seen many unanswered question about this subject. myfordbenefits

    Hello Korey Kautzer,

It´s hard to tell how much RAM is need, I have build serval websites with Umbraco where 2.5GB Ram is enough.

The largest site I build requires 18GB RAM do to over 1.3m nodes.

But to help a littel bit more could it be lovely to know some more details as Partrick ask for.
