Umbraco 9 set the default application path for all applications to Umbraco there run .net Core on IIS

    Hi all

On the IIS Webserver I have on my webhost, I have installed Umbraco in the folder called publichtml\Umbraco. On the same webserver, I have another application on publichtml\serverinfo.

When I run this application, there check things about my server-setup, e.g. the default path for the application, I can see that the application refer to that the default application path is publichtml\umbraco, in stead of publichtml\serverinfo. I also can see that the application refer the "BaseDir" to public_html\Umbraco.

Can I change some settings in Umbraco so the default application path only working for Umbraco, and not for other applications installed on the webserver there use .NET Core?

It could be fine if the other application have there own application path in stead of refer to Umbraco.

All applications on my webhost use the same application pool. I can not create application pools for every application. I create a folder on the IIS Webserver, and after that convert the folder to an application via IIS Manager.

I have tried to look on the web.config-file for both applications, but can not find some that I can adjust. When I in Umbraco look on the appsetting.json-file, I not can find that I can adjust settings related to the application path, and I am not sure what I should write.

You can download the application that I have in public_html\serverinfo via the following link: https://gist.github.com/jrotello/66e377c1fa059a2d570c .

Solutions that I can try are very welcome. :-)

Thanks in advance for your answer, and have a nice day.

    Regards, Anders
