IIS set up for Umbraco 9 on Load Balance - content changes not updating on Front End Servers
I have two questions that make me think that we have not got the set up right in terms of IIS.
What do you recommend InProcess or OutOfProcess setting in the web config?
we have set the website Application Pool as recommended: No Managed Code
But we are now having issue with changes in the CMS on the internal backend server not being reflected on the respective front end servers.
The change occurs when we refresh the application pools on each of the front end servers.
The standard default setting for IIS is to re-cycle/idle when the website has not been loaded for 20 minutes.
On reading previous articles when we were running Umbraco 8, we stopped this happening and the application pool only refreshed at 2 in the morning.
Would you have any recommendations on this?
Do we put back in the default IIS behaviour to restart the application if idle for 20 minutes or more?
This is because, of course, our website editors are observing that changes are not being reflected on the front end servers.
