If azure front door is enabled for an azure app service, does that mean the umbraco site will need to be configured for load balancing even if load balancing is not desired and the azure front door is only being used for site performance?

Do you have any recommended setups when running a simple single domain (single language) website but would like to add security through waf and azure front door to speed up the site’s performance? I cannot seem to find any steps to set up for umbraco specifically. I thought I read somewhere that the back end should be set up differently in the front door tree but I am really unsure.

Azure front-door/WAF & Loadbalacing/scaling is different and these two are used for different purposes.
Not mandatory to use load balancing/scaling if we are using an azure front door/WAF.
