    Element type not generated with models builder

    Using Umbraco And Getting Started
    Umbraco 8

    Hello!

    I have an element type that I need to use in a Nested Content property.

    However when I generate the models with models builder, the model for the element type is not generated, resulting in a build error.

    The build error comes because the faqQuestion element type is not generated: enter image description here

    Is there some setting or something that needs to be done so that also the element types get generated? Hope somebody can help me.

    Hey Anna,

    Are you sure the model isn't being generated? Or is it that the file isn't being included in your Visual Studio project?

    Depending on how your project is set up, it's very possible that new model files aren't being automatically included so it's worth double checking.
