Does Umbraco integrate easier with Microsoft products?
Was wondering if someone could tell me whether integrating Umbraco with other Microsoft products is easier than it would be with WordPress for example.
I'm not a developer, and realise that the answer is probably not a straightforward yes or no; in each instance custom code would be required. But would that code be less, and easier to maintain with Umbraco, given that it uses the same technology stack that other Microsoft products use?
Would Umbraco version make a difference - 7 vs 9, for example?
You would generally have more options, like using microsoft sdk's with Umbraco whereas with WordPress everything would need to be done using http api calls and then working with the json returned.
At the end of the day it depends what languages/frameworks you feel most comfortable using.
