    Umbraco V10 published site displays 'install' steps when setting up on IIS

    Umbraco 9

    I have set up Umbraco V10 in Visual Studio, set up the database, and built the site. I now need to deploy the site onto my VPS to run on IIS. I have published the files and copied them across. But when I visit the URL for the site, I just get the 'install' steps. The connection string is all copied across, but can't work out how to remove the install screen?

    Hi!

    Is the database you set up accessible from your VPS? The install screen will show up as long as Umbraco can't connect to the database, or there's no data in the database.

    Thank you. Yes this was causing the issue, it couldn't connect to the database.
