    Installing Umbraco

    Hi everyone

I've just installed UmbracoCms.8.18.4 in my project. I have an existing MVC Web project. (.Net Framework 4.7.2)

    The installation was ok.

But when I go to browse my previous pages (for example https://localhost:44301/home) it always shows this page instead.

    UmbracoWelcome

How can I see the existing pages of my web site ? (not created with Umbraco)

    Thanks

    Hi Wildartech,

Umbraco will out-of-the-box be the primary route provider, but you have several options to perhaps resolve your issues:

    1. Create & integrate Umbraco items corresponding to your previously existing MVC project routes, with the added benefit of being able to manage said routes and pages using Umbraco.
    2. Add custom MVC Routing so that the routes you're interested in keeping aren't being routed using the Umbraco pipeline. More information can be found here: https://our.umbraco.com/documentation/reference/routing/custom-routes/

    Hope this helped!
