    Newbie/Numpty Question about templates/views in Umbraco 10

    Hi All,

This may be a stupid question... But... I'm building a new site in Umbraco 10 (only worked on 8 previously) and I have got it all installed, the CMS is working, I can create templates within the CMS and data types, etc., and have it so I can publish to IIS... All is working fine... However, on 8, when I created a template it would be in the views folder which I could then develop within Visual Studio and get all the IntelliSense goodies, etc... But in 10, if I create a template (such as the master) within the CMS, it doesn't appear in the views folder so the only way I seem to be able to edit it is through the editor in the CMS (which is good, but rather lacking) Is this how it just works in version 10 or am I missing something?

    Thanks, Craig

Are there any errors in the Umbraco logs? Maybe it is a permission issue.

Not having any problems in my v10
