I recently upgraded from Umbraco 9 to 10.1.0.
WebP is supported and rendering images on the front end all well and good, however, it is not displaying the preview thumbnail in the backoffice. Is there anything I need to do to get this to display?

This was due to the actual image. It must have been a corrupt image. It is working fine with other images.
