    TinyMCE calling custom Umbraco 8 Editor panel

    Hi,

    I'd like to create a custom Umbraco panel

    Firstly, I'm not sure of the terminology to aid my google searches or secondly if Umbraco is extendable in this way.

    The idea is the page editor in the back office, will click a toolbar icon in the TinyMCE editor which shows a simple window as follows.

    • Search box and button.
    • List of Search results based on search box text.
    • Submit button inserts the selected result (Single).

    (I did try the TinyMCE window but struggled with the dynamic nature of the search results not being able to update them).
