Hi,
I've updated a forms installation from 10.0.3 to 10.1.2. After this update there seems to be an issue with the the validation messages.
The form is configured to use a translation for the mandatory & invalid error messages.
The translations are present.
But in the front-end the label parameter is not filled anymore...
Anyone an idea what could cause this issue? Thanks!
Do you have any news regarding this topic? I have the same issue.
running Umbraco 10.3.2 and Forms 10.2.1
I haven't been able to fix this issue yet. Also did an update to 10.2.1 and now the parameter is completely missing.
It should still be possible according to the new docs: https://docs.umbraco.com/umbraco-forms/editor/creating-a-form/form-settings
I am using a custom theme and the form.cshtml is probably not up-to-date. The example from the docs https://docs.umbraco.com/umbraco-forms/developer/themes is only for v10.1.0
So my guess is that the issue lies in form.cshtml. Don't know where to get my hands on the v10.2.1 form.cshtml.
I think that it is deeper inside the code... when using {0} directly in the mandatory message it works. but not when it is inside a translation.
but thank you for your reply.
is working on a reply...
