    Moving content from Umbraco 8 site to 10 with out having to remigrate the DB

    Is there any way with out doing a migration to take the contents from a V8 site and drop it in to a V10 site.

    I am working on upgrading one of our sites from V8 to 10 and the DB is now 3 months out of date.

    I just want to be able to move over our page content ect again with out having to go through the pain of doing a migration and then fixing the DB as some of the extentions on V8 do not work in 10.

    All I want is the content not two bothed about Page temples ect. Just want to move it from the version 8 DB to the 10 one.

    Or am i going to have to write my own tool to do it.

    Hey Darren, have you looked at trying uSync Complete? Sounds like it might be exactly what you are looking for.

    I installed USync in both version 8 and 10 and then exported the content from 8 and then imported it in to 10.

    I copied the content from the USync folder from 8 in to the 10 version and then ran the import.

    * TAKE A BACK UP OF THE DB BEFORE YOU DO THIS AND THE SITE INCASE ANY THING HAPPENS I WILL NOT TAKE A RESPONSABILATY IF ANY THING GOSE WRONG *
