We have noticed, like many others, that boot failures are terminal.
Is there any way to configure the Umbraco site to attempt to boot again after a boot failure?
In every case where we've had a boot failure the conditions that caused it are temporary and an attempted boot even seconds later would have worked. Ideally we'd want the site to attempt a boot on a later request or time saving the site from being offline until someone has to manually recycle the application pool.
Is there any way to extend the number of retries before a boot failure is produced?
We only see boot failures when the server is extremely busy with Windows Updates and the application pool recycles. The server needs slightly longer to respond but the Umbraco site boot fails before it this can happen.
