Loading time on our video banner
Hi Umbracians,
We have had a agency who helped us by making a banner module where we could add a Vimeo link and then the video would show on our banner.
But the problem is that it is loading so much, and it takes time to show on our homepage. What to do?
I have seen plenty of website where the video plays right away with no loading.
I hope somebody can help. Thanks in advanced.
This doesn't seem Umbraco related? Without additional information it's impossible to help. Is the site online so we can see it?

Hi Galil, The site loads instantly for me, no delay loading the vide at all, however I am on a 300Mbit broadband connection.
Okay because sometimes my screen is white at first before the video begins to show and others are saying the same thing :(

If you go to Forum, there should be a button on the right corner where it says "Ask a question".
That's how I did it but I am also new on this forum and using Umbraco :)

I would recommend you to run lighthouse in chrome developer console.
It will give you a list of things to do to improve the speed of the site.
For example to use http/2 protocol instead of http/1.1.
The big sinner is the stuff loaded from 175vod-adaptive.akamaized.net
