im updating the umbraco system from vesion 8 to 11 and looking for another grid layout under data types, im right now considering the block grid but would like some help.
Hi,
You should definitely look atthe Block grid, there is an example site available on github
https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco.BlockGrid.Example.Website
well block grid is already in umbraco, but im looking how to set it up
take a look at the example website, it will give you an idea of how it hangs together. Or just 'install the sample config'
You can also check out the documentation here. https://docs.umbraco.com/umbraco-cms/fundamentals/backoffice/property-editors/built-in-umbraco-property-editors/block-editor/block-grid-editor, which describes a lot of how it works.
