i would like to create node for global settings that will contain list of colors that the site uses, and use this list in other property editors in other nodes for example choosing background color property editor or other stuff like that...
is there any easy way to do that or i went to far?
This is exactly what we do with our product uSkinned Site Builder for Umbraco. We hold all style settings within a Design node in Umbraco and display color pickers within content nodes that relate to the Global styles and colors you have defined.
