Does anyone know where and what I can add to suppress the update available messages that pop up when you log in.
I have seen you can add this in web config in older versions.

Hi Sidney,
Dont know about suppressing it but it will only be displayed for Administrator users. Clients wont normally have admin access so wont see the message if thats what you are worried about.

Fantastic - I wasn't aware of that, and that will solve it for me.
But I did also find where I can supress the update available blue bar just in case anyone else ever needs it:
