We have just recently started with our own Umbraco website and we are now starting to use Umbraco forms. This is all working quite well but where stuck on something i thought would be easy but for some reason, it's not.
We made a test form with some fields (about 5) and one of them is a question field called "Test" with alias "test". it's just a test field.
We also added a email field to send the mail to.
all of this is in the umbraco forms part of the back office.
Now to the content page.
We made another test page there with a "content Block form" that we can click then to edit some fields. (mainly from adress, name, destination ,...)
And ofcourse the email body.
Here is it where things go south.
we just put name: {test} in the body field, submit and save and whop nothing happens.
We get the mail with the default footer info, the form (and answered values can be seen from the form page) but in the mail itself that we get it just writes name: {test} in stead of name: Tom
I have been looking but it seems it should just work to add field values in the body but for some reason ...
