    Issue with TimeOut when deleting Document Type properties

    Hi everyone!

    I am trying to delete selected properties from a Document Type - however, I keep getting this wonderful message:

    I have already tried changing the following:

    • the 'connection timeout' parameter in the connection string
    • the IIS 'Limit --> Connection Time-Out' under the site's Advanced settings
    • the 'executionTimeout' in the httpRuntime block in web.config

    ...however - none of this seems to affect the timeout in Umbraco, which kills the deletion operation after 30 seconds.

    Additional info would be - that the website runs within Azure, and that we are talking about several pages/nodes which are using the given Document Type properties, which I am trying to delete.

    Therefore - any suggestions would be much appreciated since we need to clean out/remove some older Document Type properties that are no longer in use.
