    Block Editor Label Properties angle brackets still visible on new block {{heading}}

    Using Umbraco And Getting Started
    Umbraco 9

    I have added some simple angularjs to display the heading as the Label of the block list item.

    This works once the item has been created.

    However, until the item has been created (a new item) it still shows the angle brackets and does not render correctly.

    Is there a workaround for this?

    Hi Chris,

    I commented on this issue yesterday which should have been fixed in 11.4.0. Please add a comment here so that the Umbraco Team know that a lot of people are now running into this:
