Cannot bind source content type, application is in an unstable state
Hi,
I've upgraded a few old sites to Umbraco 10.5.1 and have had a strange error:
Cannot bind source content type Umbraco.Cms.Web.Common.PublishedModels.Home to model type Umbraco.Cms.Web.Common.PublishedModels.Home. Both view and content models are in memory generated, with different versions. The application is in an unstable state and should be restarted.
I've seen this error three times across three different sites over the past week or so. All are on 10.5.1 and I don't believe I've ever seen that error under Umbraco 7 or 8. Going into IIS and restarting the affected site fixes it, but there must be a reason that it occurs in the first place. It seems to always be the home page that falls over; other pages still work.
I realise that this is a bit vague, but can anyone give any advice around how to troubleshoot this and track down what's going on?
This issue is still occurring with Umbraco 10.8.6. The issue is likely to occur after changing data types (just changing the name of one is enough to break it), but sometimes it occurs randomly.
I'm wondering whether it's related to both the home page and its underlying document type both being named "Home" and maybe causing a conflict, but it must be a fairly common occurrence in Umbraco sites so I'd imagine there would be a lot more reports of this problem if that was the cause.

This just happened again, except it wasn't the home page this time, so that was apparently a red herring. Any ideas?
