Umbraco Versions - Long Term Support alignment with .Net lifecycle
Hello,
I'm hoping you can help me out with something that is confusing me.
My understanding is that Umbraco Long Term Support (LTS) version are now allowed aligned with .Net LTS versions.
We are currently on Umbraco 10 which uses .Net 6 and, according to this page that will be end of life on 16 June 2025. However, .Net 6 is end of life on 12 November 2024.
So if we want to stay on a supported version of .Net we have to upgrade Umbraco before it is end of life - is that correct? Thanks!

Yes, v10 is a slight step away from the actual LTS alignment. It should have been v9 in the schedule, but v9 was the first .net core version.
From v13 and onwards they align as intended.
