    User not shown in backoffice (ID: -1)

    Using Umbraco And Getting Started

    Hello,

    After upgrading to Umbraco 12.1, the user with ID -1 is not shown in backoffice when navigating to Settings > Users.

    Is this a bug in Umbraco or in my sql database? Feels weird to have an ID of -1. First I thought it might be because this is the super admin that created the instance in the first place.

    Hi Tobias,

    Your assumption is correct, that is the super admin account and it only shows in the back office if you are logged in as that account.

    What ever you do, don't go deleting that account from the database as it will result in odd things breaking.
