Hi
I have a website running on Umbraco 8 with it's own database we host.
What would be the steps involved to move the site to Azure or Umbraco cloud (assuming they are 2 different environments)?
How would I deploy changes I make locally from my repo to the live site etc?
Anything I should be aware of that may come as a problem that I might not know at the moment?
How does maintenance work on the cloud instance?
Appreciate any advice
Anyone got any starter links/tutorials or is this more difficult than I anticipated?
Thanks
Hi Linx
For Cloud, there is a migration guide you can follow: https://docs.umbraco.com/umbraco-cloud/getting-started/migrate-existing-site
For Azure, you can probably "just" copy your database and files into Azure, and run it from there. For deploying changes between local and live, I would suggest uSync.
