Had a site in dev for a while - about to put it live and noticed all content nodes outside of the main tree throw "Failed to retrieve data for content id 1234" and refuses to load.
After a lot of headscratching - I downloaded the DB locally and it works. Took me a while to work out but if I remove the hostname from the homepage node suddenly all the nodes content loads successfully (weird thing being these nodes that don't load are the ones outside this home node under site settings etc).
If I run the db in a different domain it also works. Anyone know why this would be?
I have swapped the language at some point in this site and I think this might have caused some issues.
The root nodes load - it just the nodes below them.
