appSettings.json not found, but deleting TEMP files fixes this?
We have a weird situation. We have two Umbraco 12(.3.6) websites that run fine. But at some point, they will fail and when rebooted, they show the following error:
The configuration file 'appsettings.json' was not found and is not optional. The expected physical path was '/home/site/wwwroot/appsettings.json'.
These sites are hosted on Azure. I've checked that the appsettings.json file is present (which is obviously is, because the site worked before it stopt working.
The only thing we found that fixed this error is stopping the site and deleting all TEMP files from Umbraco and booting again. I really fail to see how the TEMP files are related to a appSettings.json not being found. Does anyone have ANY idea what direction to look at? It might be an Umbraco issue, but it might also be an Azure issue.
Not all Umbraco 12.3.6 sites we have have this issue, so I'm trying to find out of there is something unique that our other sites do not have.
