    IIS Hosting 500 error

    Hi all,

    I am trying to publish Umbraco 13 on IIS with .NET 8 Hosting Bundle installed.

    I can run a "normal" Hello World app without any issues, however, the Umbraco app is not playing ball.

    I believe it should be running a-ok however I still receive the 500 error and with no details what-so-ever.

    Can anyone guide me here?

    Are any umbraco log files being created?

    Check file and database permissions

    Hi Huw,

    Yeah, in the end the logs provided me with the answer, it was something as simple as forgetting to upload the database to the remote site :D
