This site can’t provide a secure connection when trying to run Umbraco Project locally

    Hi All.

I am trying to run an Umbraco v8 project locally and on starting the project in Visual Studio, I get the error: "This site can’t provide a secure connection".

I have tried setting SSL Enabled to false in Project properties but that did not solve the problem.

Is there any known way to solve this problem?

    Thanks.

Issue was resolved by using Firefox instead of Chrome.

Even better solution: ticking the "Disable Cache" box in Chrome Developer Tools in the Network tab

If you still wanted to use Chrome you can type "thisisunsafe" when you are on the page that shows "This site can’t provide a secure connection" and that bypasses the SSL errors and loads the page as normal.

When you are on the page with the window active - I think this is the issue you are having - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLom38ffPRo
