Is there something similar to Archetypes in newer versions of Umbraco for creating a modular architecture?

I currently work on v7 and I would like to upgrade (v12 potentially) but I am wondering if there is anything similar to Archetypes in newer versions of Umbraco (>= v10), as I would like to build modular pages, with reusable sections that can be easily added/removed/reordered.
