    ExternalIndex corrupted (wrong path)

    Hi,

Our ExternalIndex is not working anymore and i get all sorts of errors in the log.

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\Windows\TEMP\ExamineIndexes\db54d6a2928214e00581c19fa50a0ed6\ExternalIndex\_65.si'.
    File name: 'C:\Windows\TEMP\ExamineIndexes\db54d6a2928214e00581c19fa50a0ed6\ExternalIndex\_65.si'

There is no folder under ExamineIndexes named "db54...".

    I have the following subfolders:

    \InternalIndex \MembersIndex \UmbracoFormsRecordsIndex

If i go to the the ExternalIndex backend management it states:

Could not find file 'C:\Windows\TEMP\ExamineIndexes\db54d6a2928214e00581c19fa50a0ed6\ExternalIndex\_65.si'. It may not be possible to rebuild the index. Please try deleting the entire ExternalIndex folder and then attempt to rebuild it again

But i can't delete the requested folder as it does not exist!

    We're running Umbraco 13.1.0.

    Hi Kåre

Did you try to rebuild all indexes? Does the solution have correct permissions to files and folders on the disk?

    Alex

Yes i can rebuild the other indexes just fine.

Only the ExternalIndex gives this error with the wrong path. I don't know why it wants that db

I upgraded to Umbraco 13.2.2 and that have fixed the issue.
