Umbraco Commerce: Unable to save Order as you already have the maximum allowed by your license.

    Hi there!

We're currently seeing the error below in our logging while having a valid Umbraco Commerce license (and cannot add products in our cart). We've been running our shop for months without problems now until today. The problem only arises on our Subscriber server.

Unable to save Order as you already have the maximum allowed by your license.

We've already re-validated the license in Umbraco, but no avail.

    • Umbraco 10.8.3
    • Umbraco Commerce 10.0.5
    • Load-balanced website with a WAF and two servers (one SchedulingPublisher, one Subscriber)

    How can we solve this?

Try removing another Order to see if it allows you to continue (maybe you have a test Order saved?). If it allows you to then, then you know you have hit your licence limit.

This is likely the case, and your license is not the right sort. Contact Umbraco Commerce team for help. I believe you might need an upgraded license due to the volume of orders you are processing?
