Block grid editor vs Block List editor in Umbraco 14 and beyond
My take on this is that Block List editor is basically only still there for [backwards compatibility] support reasons, but going forward its probably best to use Block Grid editor exclusively (and configure it as "one column" if you wanted it to act as a list.)
What are everyone's thoughts? Is there still a use case for using Block List editor in a new CMS build that i'm overlooking?

I don't think block list is going anywhere. If you are doing one column only, and don't need "areas", I would go with block list too.
