    Basic eCommerce functionaliy for Umbraco

    Hi,

I have a staightforward responsive website using Umbraco 13 to support my social media feed for my business. The sites main focus is the video content and story behind the business and what we do and how to contact us. In addition to the funcationality above I would like to sell some t-shirts and mugs on the site and wondered if there are any basic ecommerce packages I could install to achieve this. I've seen the Umbraco (Vendr) packages but i feel these are way over the top of what I need, the main ecommerce features are:

    • List products with the ability to have different variants
    • Be able to add a promtion or sale on the product if needed
    • Simple checkout and basket, maybe use Paypal as the payment provider

    Any suggestion much appreciated

    Thanks

    Hi Nick,

Ecwid might be interesting. It's not a package for Umbraco, but it can be added to a website with a piece of script that you need to add on the page.

Many thanks for this, on quick glance this could do the trick, many thanks, do you have any experience or have any tutorials you can pass on on how to integrate it with Umbraco?

    You're very welcome!

I have experience with Ecwid, it's our go to webshop when Umbraco Commerce is too big for the customer.

Basically you can get a piece of script from Ecwid, which you can add to a page in Umbraco.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Nick

Umbraco Commerce (formerly known as Vendr) is of course a flexible, extendable, scalable and user-friendly ecommerce solution for Umbraco.

The is also UmbCheckout I haven't used it myself though.

I know previously some has also integrated with Snipcart - it seems uSkinned had an integration: https://uskinned.net/support/how-to-create-an-integrated-ecommerce-shop/
