Upcoming Release Scheduling + Included Issues

I'm curious as to when an issue/work-item gets added to an upcoming release?

Currently - there is no upcoming u15.x release noted on the In Progress page. This would make sense if a work item is first completed and then assigned to a release. I'm then curious about how to identify which items are in progress and candidates for being included on any particular upcoming release.

We've jumped the gun for u15 but are finding some show-stoppers. They're all already reported, but I need to know how to account for scheduling and if it's reasonable to await a release or if we should instead revert back to the u13 LTS. It's pretty early in the project phase so now is the time to make a medium-sized call, well before it becomes a much bigger deal!

    Thanks for outlook + insights

    Hi Damian,

You could use the product roadmap to have any idea on what features they are working on.

    https://umbraco.com/products/knowledge-center/roadmap/

But I do not think there is any place where you can find what they are going to put in the next updates as fixes or smaller features.

You could also follow the github issues here: https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco-CMS/issues and see if they have started working on the issues you had.

    Best of luck Damian

The question is specifically when does an issue get attached to a release on the In-Progress release page. It appears there now is an upcoming release for 15.x so that does answer that aspect that a release does not exist until there is an issue attached.

    Thank you
