Pre-populate the selected image's alternative text on rich text editor / Extending Umbraco TinyMCE rich text editor

I'm currently using Umbraco 10.7 and having an issue to carry the pre-set image's alt text from the Media library through the selected image's alt text field from the image picker in the rich text editor.
Since Umbraco is using TinyMCE for its RTE, is it possible to extend the current image picker plugin because I don't want to lose any existing functionalities since it just needs to have an additional behaviour which is to pre-populate the image's alt text on RTE as mentioned above, otherwise assuming a new image plugin needs to be created from scratch?

The only information available on Umbraco 10 documentation is just a link to the TinyMCE plugins documentation (i.e: https://docs.umbraco.com/umbraco-cms/10.latest/fundamentals/backoffice/property-editors/built-in-umbraco-property-editors/rich-text-editor/configuration#advanced-configuration).
If there's a way to achieve the above without having to create a new image plugin from scratch, any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.
